Blanche & Lucy Visit the Cherry Creek Art Festival in Denver

One of our favorite Art Festivals here in Colorado is the Cherry Creek Festival.  We came in the morning to beat the heat - but having the girls in the carriage worked well because it was crowded and the cement may be hot

Some of the 'functional' art was beautiful...

Glass is expensive but also beautiful.

This woodworking artist was very cleaver in his booth construction.

It didn't take long for the festival to get pretty crowded - so we were happy to have Blanche and Lucy out of the way of feet and other dogs.

The Photography Art in this show is always plentiful - inspiring & beautiful.

These art pieces were very big.....
And some were pretty small.
Much of the photographers art at the festival was shot with large format film cameras.... yes many purists, still shooting film....

Being in Colorado - we had a fair amount of cowboys, both as artists and patrons of the art.
This pen and ink drawing that Cheryl is viewing took the festival grand prize.

Beautiful sculptures as well.

And this little tiny booth held as many people as art - too crowded for me.

All throughout the festival - people stopped, smiled, took photos of Blanche and Lucy in the carriage,  and gave the girls a pat on the head.   Blanche & Lucy created quite a little stir as we rode along ... we even were stopped by someone who said she was shooting for a local newspaper and wanted a shot of the girls and us with the carriage.... their 15min. of fame....
